The Hollister® evadri Bladder Control System is the fourth generation in a long line of therapy equipment targeted at the incontinent patient. Using biofeedback and electrical stimulation, the patient learns how to isolate, identify and strengthen the muscles of the pelvic floor. Being able to control these muscles helps with the management of stress incontinence through increased muscle bulk, urge incontinence through strategies of muscle activity, and the decrease of pelvic tone through down training. The evadri ® System is a comprehensive 2 channel system enabling the monitoring of two muscle groups simultaneously. It incorporates exercise templates and electrical stimulation in 6 frequencies and makes the evadri ® System a leader in pelvic floor rehabilitation. InCare® Pressure Sensors are available in both vaginal and rectal configurations. They are inflated to patient tolerance and are totally latex-free. The EMG sensors are available in 5 different configurations. For the anal sensors, there is a straight probe as well as a probe with a flange. The vaginal sensors are available in 1" diameter, 3/4" diameter, and 3/4" short, the latter designed for the patient who have a foreshortened vagina. With the exception of the wide base rectal probe, the EMG sensors have no flange. This enables the clinician to strategically place the sensor and its circumferential electrodes at the optimum site for best EMG detection as well as the comfortable delivery of electrical stimulation. InCare® Microgyn Plus is used for the delivery of electrotherapy to the pelvic muscles. There are 3 frequencies of stimulation available to address stress and urge incontinence, as well as help manage issues of high pelvic tone. It is compatible with all 5 of our sensors. This device can be used as an adjunct to office-based pelvic floor therapy sessions, or as a stand-alone device. Click to download pdf
